Monster Battlegrounds is a 2D competitive game in which monsters fight to become the strongest using the keyboard.
The Monster Battlegrounds's goal is to win matches against any monster you encounter. The monsters' health bars will be located at the top of their respective sides. The timer will be between the health bars, with win counters beneath each. If your monster is knocked out during the majority of the fights or has less health at the end, you will lose the match.
The main menu allows you to view the Tutorial for guidance or engage in some Training to spend time with the monsters. When you are ready to fight, select the "Battle" option. From there, you can choose the background for your fight, and each competitor can select which monster to represent. Following that, the fight will load and start after a brief countdown. Once the fight begins, competitors can attack each other with everything they have. Each hit reduces health but increases the Super Meter in the lower corners. If both monsters have health at the end of the timer, a Sudden Death round will begin. Barriers will move in from both sides, forcing the competitors closer together. The beast who wins the majority of the rounds will win the match.
Monster Battlegrounds is a fighting game, so speed and timing are crucial. Most monsters have similar attack ranges. They use both melee and ranged attacks. Being mobile makes you harder to hit. This frustrates your opponent. A frustrated opponent is prone to mistakes. Look for chances to land combos or consistent hits.
