Stick War: Legacy is a strategy game in which you develop an army of stick figures, mine gold, and send different types of units into war. Your main goal in each level is to safeguard your own statue and demolish the enemy’s. Miners mine for gold on their own, but can work faster if the player personally controls them.
Gold is used to enlist troops and players receive upgrade points for their forces after finishing stages. If your force is strong enough you can go from the defensive to the offense or withdraw to your base and take the benefit of the protection of castle archers.
The lifeblood of the economy is the miner. Also, with enough miners, you can stack up gold quickly and constantly recruit troops. Archers are good for ranged damage and work well with melee units as a frontline. Some stages also allow you to employ the castle archers to defend from a distance and keep them safe from direct enemy attacks
Swordsmen are the basic melee unit, whereas Speartons are stronger and also can throw their spears. Mages have the ability to change the outcome of big scale fights with their area of effect damage and summoning powers. When up against big formations or opposing mages, picking the right units and managing them well might be the difference between winning and losing.
Beyond the main game, Stick War: Legacy also has extra levels, competitions and an indefinite survival mode. In survival mode, players must defend their base for several nites against waves of more powerful zombies, including zombie dogs and toxic variations.
The game also has a skin system that modifies unit qualities. Some skins provide you perks such as lifesteal, delaying effects, reflecting damage or reducing recruitment fees. Players can mix and match skins with team compositions to get through increasingly harder stages, as well as unlock more achievements and avatars as they play.
