The global catastrophe will soon swallow us in the Age of Steel. Planetary resources will run out, and traditions will be meaningless. It causes countless conflicts, practically eliminating regions where people might live peacefully without fear of being shot.
Planet destroyed. Years of ceaseless battles almost devastated modern nations. Stronger armies were formed. The first non-governmental army in Age of Steel was the Opposition. It sought to establish a new society. Free from war, bloodshed, and tyranny. Only the utter collapse of the old world and civilization allowed it.
The remaining big countries had to form an organization to defeat the Opposition. Alliance was its name.
