Alien Hominid

Once again, Alien Hominid is fast, frenetic, and absurd. This savage action, hand-drawn pandemonium, and over-the-top alien humor from The Behemoth's 2D side-scroller returns to Steam after being a Flash classic and console favorite.

How to play Alien Hominid

Alien Hominid is a fast-paced side-scrolling shooter like Metal Slug. As the extraterrestrial, players combat covert agents with blasters. Precision and speed are needed for one-shot kills, making the game difficult. Melee attacks, grenades, and advanced tactics including rolling under gunfire, jumping on and decapitating enemies, and burrowing underground to ambush enemies are accessible.

Controls

Through waves of enemies, you must run, jump, dodge, and shoot. You can use grenades, a close-range knife, and even chew your enemies' heads off as weapons. The blaster is your main weapon. To avoid gunfire or sneak attacks, dig underground and gather agents for hard throws.

There is a lot of action, whether you play alone or with other people in the same room.

The Reason It Works

The controls are tight, the motion is clear, and if you take it easy, the difficulty will surprise you. Arcade gamers like Alien Hominid where every button press counts and every mistake is your fault.
