Ages of Conflict

Ages of Conflict is a world war simulation game where different AI-controlled nations compete to expand their territories and become the strongest power on the map. You can choose an existing map or create your own world, then set up cities and civilizations before starting the simulation. Once the game begins, each nation will develop independently, build armies, declare wars, make peace deals, and sometimes collapse through internal revolts. Every simulation creates a different history, so even the smallest civilization has a chance to become a major empire.

Ages of Conflict Game Features

Custom Maps and Civilizations

Choose from several available map templates or create your own land area. You can place starting cities, establish civilizations, and give them names based on real countries or historical empires. This allows you to recreate familiar parts of history or build a completely different world.

AI Wars and Military Expansion

Nations automatically expand their territories and fight against neighboring civilizations. Armies are placed along different fronts, while military invasions can also happen across the sea. Countries can gain new land through wars, but they may also lose their capitals and disappear from the map.

Revolts can happen when a civilization becomes unstable, creating new independent nations from existing territories. These new countries can develop their own armies and start competing with their former rulers. Even a powerful empire can suddenly break apart after several uprisings.

Ages of Conflict Gameplay

Set Up Your World

In Ages of Conflict, you begin by selecting a map and creating the civilizations that will participate in the simulation. You can choose their starting locations, names, and other settings before letting the AI take control. You can also enable revolts to make the world more unpredictable and allow new nations to emerge during the game.

Watch Nations Fight and Expand

After starting the simulation, countries will gradually occupy more territory and interact with their neighbors. Some will quickly become powerful through successful wars, while others may struggle to defend their borders against multiple enemies. You can follow army positions, watch different fronts, and see how peace deals change the map over time.

Follow the History of Each Nation

The game also keeps track of important statistics, including the number of wars and revolts each nation has experienced. You can compare their current strength with their historical records and see which civilizations have survived the longest. These details make it interesting to follow the rise and fall of different empires throughout the simulation.
