Endless War 3 is an action packed war game with high speed firefights where you must continually move select the correct weapons and cooperate with teammates to complete each level. The game sends you through multiple campaigns set in different locations, offering different enemies and fighting styles, from fights inspired by World War II to furious clashes with special forces and deadly weapons.
The World War II campaign has confrontations against infantry, military vehicles and permanent gun emplacements. To quickly take down foes you need to stay mobile to find the optimal fire angles. There are moments when you need rockets to blow up vehicles or big groups of foes, and moments when you need machine guns to blast away at troops.
The Japan campaign is very different in terms of gameplay style. The weapons are also different, such as shotguns and katanas. The weapons you start with, though, aren’t necessarily the best choice. Use light machine guns, use the terrain and move around buildings, this will help you manage the battlefield better.
Endless War 3 Movement is a key part of. Diagonal movement gets you somewhere faster and changing direction all the time is a good way to avoid hostile fire. The ground can also provide unusual firing angles, allowing you to hit foes from places where they can’t easily return fire.
Ammo is scarce, so use it wisely, because running out of ammo in the midst of battle might put you in grave danger. Grenades and rockets are particularly effective when you’re facing several adversaries or vehicles at the same time. Allies can assist you take out part of the enemy, but they don't always do well (you'll need to be prepared to take out the rest yourself).
Later campaigns in Endless War 3 contain more potent weaponry and more lethal foes. The Gauss weapon does huge damage in one shot and you can take use of various terrain angles. Additionally, enemy units that are fast and deal a lot of damage push you to respond quickly, instead of passively holding your ground in battle.
