Heroes use swords and fight other sword-wielders, like in Hero 5: Katana Slice. Another trip into SUPERHOT-like dimensions with jagged polygonal figures. The combatants now wear armor instead of rushing nude. Thankfully, the hero of the hour has armor and a sword but faces the army alone. His only hope is your abilities and control to defeat the hordes of adversaries seeking to find him.
Every Hero game has tried new perspectives while keeping the core fundamentals. Hero 5: Katana Slice fits the franchise and returns to melee combat. Jumping and speeding are allowed because you're more likely to get hurt. The maps are larger, giving you more room to explore and regroup against tough foes. One of the larger entries in the series, you may find yourself exploring more than expected during sword-fighting.
Despite being about swordsmen and sword fighting, the enemies defy nature. Although their limbs and heads may fly off, they aren't defeated until they fall limp. Jump out of reach and range to rest.
Have fun and good luck!
