The strategy game King War IO mixes empire building and defense against waves of foes. As a kingdom lord, you must build a base, hire soldiers, and defend against unending attacks. The goal is to gain power and supremacy.
You start with a small territory and build barracks and resource mines to establish an infrastructure.
When night falls or when enemies appear, you must control the main character (e.g. an archer or lord) to fight and protect your stronghold from waves of monsters or zombies.
Progress requires you to upgrade structures, recruit more soldiers, and control resources such as wood and minerals to be able to meet the needs of manpower and defense.
The gameplay is strategic—building survival. players must choose between economic development and defense consolidation to face the challenge.
